Bonding with our patients and ensuring they maintain a positive outlook is of extreme importance to MTMH. As a way to boost patient morale and impart valuable information about cancer treatments, MTMH organises various outreach activities as part of its calendar year. These services extend to communities living in and around Jharkhand as part of the hospital’s social initiatives.

Screening and Awareness Camps

Doctors from Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital (MTMH) have been closely associated with conducting cancer screening and awareness camps. The success of the programme has been attributed to close coordination between MTMH and NGOs such as Rotary Club of Jamshedpur, Lions Club and others. Camps are also organised at various corporate houses for employees. These camps are free of cost for patients. Counselling and referral services and arrangements for follow- up of the patient’s progress are facilitated.
